A young company, but with over 100 years of history behind it
In the heart of Vicenza, between the municipalities of Cornedo Vicentino and Valdagno, lies a quarry from which a unique hard limestone is extracted, unmistakable for its beauty and strength: Grolla.
Three generations have dedicated commitment, passion and tenacity to grow the company that it is today: a family and a team of professionals dedicated to the tailor-made processing of Grolla stone and other types of stone.
The company offers its customers a complete and tailor-made service: from consultancy and design to the realisation of the work, starting from the extraction of the material to its eventual laying.
The quarry
When we say Made in Italy, we mean made right here
The quarry is located a few kilometres from the company.
Scientific studies show that this extraction zone coincides with a volcanic area that has given the material outstanding technical and mechanical characteristics.
And it is precisely from this area that Grolla hard limestone comes, processed and finished in the company, in demand in dozens of countries around the world and appreciated by various national and international architects and designers.

In Faedo, we started getting involved in marble with Angelo many years ago. The company and the dedication to this work then passed into the hands of his son Alessandro, who bought the quarry in Spagnago in the second half of the 1980s: a real step into the future because from that moment on we became the only Grolla stone quarry in the world.
Today, the third generation works in the company with Nicola and Francesca together with other professionals: craftsmen in the production department and sales consultants, a point of contact also with foreign countries.
