This supply of nearly 50,000 square meters involved the use of Grolla marble in 10×10 cm cube format, laid in its rough state and subsequently polished on-site. This technical methodology enabled perfect flatness and nearly imperceptible joints on a monumental scale, while ensuring maximum structural resistance and simplified maintenance for an urban area subject to constant foot traffic.
